SivaOM Yoga Teacher Education Programme with 5 levels designed for those seeking soul enlightenment and deep wisdom

SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education by SivaOm School of Yoga

Designed for those seeking soul enlightenment and deep wisdom, SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education by SivaOm School of Yoga is a transformative journey. When discussing Yoga in its spiritual context, this cosmic science reveals itself as ancient as the universe, encapsulating its very essence. The system known as SivaOm Yoga enables the harmonious union of internal Shiv and Shakti, leading to the ultimate goal of human existence: merging the jivatma back to the Brahman, attaining enlightenment, liberation, and understanding one’s divine essence as Shiv.

Embracing Yogic Sadhana

The primary aim of SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education is to immerse participants deeply into their yogic sadhana, fostering a life lived in yoga. Yoga transcends mere physical practice; it is a vision into the soul, a way of life. Commitment to yoga reflects commitment to self, demonstrated through dedicated study and sadhana. Remember, a good student evolves into a great teacher, illuminating the path for others by first illuminating their own.

Rejecting Conventional Norms

Unlike conventional teacher training programs, where students are often treated as mere clients, subjected to limited hours of instruction, SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education rejects such constraints. Yoga is viewed as a lifelong journey of self-discovery, demanding unwavering determination, focus, and patience. The program is dedicated to preserving the authenticity of yoga teachings, vehemently opposing cultural appropriation and the commodification of yoga into mere physical exercises.

Embracing Destiny and Karma

If you find yourself drawn to this path, it is not by chance but by the hand of destiny and the workings of karma. Your journey toward becoming a Yogi and Guru is guided by a higher purpose, a destiny waiting to be fulfilled.

A Holistic Approach

Our approach to SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education goes beyond theoretical knowledge, emphasizing practical experience while maintaining the integrity of yoga’s essence. The teachings are structured into seven levels, mirroring the journey through the seven chakras. This specific series encompasses Levels 4 & 5, offering a comprehensive exploration for those aspiring to become yoga instructors or deepen their understanding of yoga philosophy.

Prerequisites and Requirements

To enroll in Level 4, completion of Level 3 is mandatory. At this stage, you transition from being a basic group lesson instructor to a budding yoga teacher. Your learning journey is facilitated through comprehensive all-day seminars led by the guru, supplemented by mentorship from assigned mentors outside of regular education hours. Regular attendance, with a minimum requirement of 75%, is essential for both practical and theoretical seminars. Additionally, students are expected to complete regular homework assignments alongside seminar hours. Guidance and support from your guru and allocated master teacher are available at every stage of this process.

Certification and Assessment

Upon successful completion of the course and passing both theoretical and practical exams, students will be awarded a prestigious SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education Certificate by SIVA OM School of Yoga, registered with the Government of India.

In-depth Subjects Covered in SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education

The SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education offers comprehensive insights into various aspects of yoga practice and philosophy. Building upon the foundation established in the Level 1 + 2 + 3 SivaOm Yoga Instructors Education, students delve deeper into the following subjects:

Mantra Yoga

Mantra yoga harnesses the power of sound vibration to facilitate yoga practice. Mantras serve as tools to quiet the wandering mind, leading it towards a state of meditation. Through repetition, mantras engage the mind fully, aiding in the exploration of one’s inner divinity. Discussions will cover the significance of mantras, their application, timing, location, and proper protocols.

Bhakti Yoga

Bhakti Yoga is a profound spiritual path centered on love, faith, and surrender to the Supreme. It offers a direct route to realizing God, emphasizing devotion over extensive physical practices. Topics include the essence of Bhakti, the concept of Isvar, spiritual realization, the role of a Guru, and the aspirant’s qualifications.

History of Mahabharat and Shrimad Bhagavad Gita

The Bhagavad Gita, known as “The Song of the Lord,” stands as one of India’s most revered scriptures. Delving into its historical context, this discourse unveils the timeless teachings embedded within its verses. Beyond its apparent battlefield setting, the Gita explores the internal struggle for self-mastery, offering profound insights for leading a meaningful and fulfilling life.

Hatha Yoga Pradipika

An ancient text, the Hatha Yoga Pradipika, serves as a foundational treatise on Hatha Yoga. Exploring advanced practices to awaken Kundalini energy, this text requires careful study and guidance from a qualified guru. Students will delve into the veiled instructions of the Pradipika, emphasizing adherence to caution and the guidance of their guru to ensure safe and effective practice.

Each subject within the SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education is designed to deepen students’ understanding and practice, preparing them to embody the teachings of yoga and share its transformative power with others. Level 4 equips you with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to embark on your journey as a certified yoga teacher, ready to inspire and guide others on the path of yoga.

SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education Graduation 2020 – 2021

The SivaOm Yoga Teacher Education is taught by Yoga Guru Shri Siddhartha Shiv Khanna from India (Founder of the SIVA OM Yoga School).

Born into an influential Hindu family in New Delhi, I was immersed in the practices of meditation and chanting from a young age, alongside the household traditions of Bhakti Yoga and Karma Yoga. Despite attending one of the nation’s premier private schools, I pursued a degree in fashion retail and merchandise management, following an enlightening 18-month stint in Australia upon turning 18.
The trajectory of my life took a profound turn when I was invited to participate in the reality show “Big Switch” in India. This experience presented a unique struggle, culminating in my victory. However, the true triumph lay in the profound changes it instigated within me, particularly through my interactions with underprivileged children throughout the show’s duration. Subsequently, I assumed responsibility for my father’s construction business and briefly served as the business head of a fashion label.
By the age of 25, I seemingly had it all – success, prestige, and material wealth. Yet, amidst this abundance, a persistent sense of discontent lingered. This internal unrest compelled me to introspect deeply, leading to the realization that true happiness transcends mere external achievements. It became evident that lasting fulfillment lies beyond the realms of wealth, fame, and power – prompting a quest for enduring happiness and meaning in life.

A pivotal moment arrived, one I had long sought but remained unknown to me until then. As Hindus, we hold beliefs steeped in ancient traditions, including the significance of specific celestial alignments and sacred rituals. According to our tradition, the convergence of the three ancient rivers of India during the Brahma Muhurta, when Jupiter aligns with the 1st sign Aries and the Sun and Earth’s moon align with the 10th sign Capricorn, or when Jupiter aligns with the 2nd sign Taurus and the Sun with Capricorn, bestows Moksh – liberation from suffering, the cycle of birth and rebirth, and the universal laws of space, time, and karma.
This profound moment marked my inaugural encounter with true yoga – a union of body, mind, and soul, culminating in an awakening of Shiv consciousness. Words fail to capture the boundless bliss that permeated every breath and moment of existence. It occurred during the “Holy Royal Snan of Mauni Amavasya” amidst the Mahakumbh Mela – a sacred gathering of souls. For the first time in my life, I felt the divine presence both within and around me, transcending the boundaries of the self and merging with the universal consciousness of Shiv.

After studying and practicing Raja Yoga under the guidance of my Guru Ji, Shri Yogi Anoop Ji from India, I dedicated most of my time to these pursuits. I practiced asanas from 6 to 11 in the morning, then delved into scriptures and sought guidance from my guruji for the rest of the day. This immersion in Gyan Yoga and Raja Yoga brought profound changes to my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, leading me closer to self-realization and God-realization. Eventually, my guruji urged me to begin teaching others, and now I devote myself to assisting seekers in finding peace and experiencing the ultimate state of bliss. Through sharing ancient scriptures and insights gained from my own journey, I aim to guide others toward self-realization, God-realization, and the ultimate goal of union with Shiv Consciousness.
The second significant step in my journey involved a profound experience at Kedarnath Jyotirlinga, nestled high in the upper Himalayas. This transformative moment, which I may share in detail someday, felt like divine intervention and solidified my path. As a result, I returned and renounced my previous work, embracing a new chapter of spiritual dedication.
